Frequently Asked Questions
-
Survivors Awareness is a nonprofit organization that supports parents and caregivers (best friends, grandparents, siblings etc.) of survivors of sexual harm. We have been doing this work for several years, and everything we build is designed with caregivers in mind.
-
Our programs, tools, and community are built for the caregivers: parents, partners, family members, and close supporters of survivors. If you love someone who has experienced sexual harm and you’re trying to figure out how to show up for them, this is for you.
-
We are grateful you are here, and we want to be honest with you: our programs are specifically designed for caregivers, not survivors directly. We hope with our resources we can indirectly impact survivors.
BUT, we have frequent events that are offered to survivors. Our events are usually in the realm of artistic and holistic healing.
You can find our upcoming events here: Event Page

No. The Trial Box is a self-guided educational and reflective experience. It is not therapy, counseling, or clinical care. If you or your loved one needs clinical support, we encourage you to seek it from a qualified professional, and we can help direct you.
Please contact, contact@sawarriors.org for referrals and other clinical resources in your area.
